She was the girl next door... literally! That's how my friend met her husband. They've since merged into one home and five years and two kids later I had the pleasure of photographing the happy family of four.
Here are some photos of a recent family session. We spent the afternoon chasing after the big brother. I even stuck him in a tree so he couldn't get away from me. Just kidding! It did work though! I'll post some more photos from this session soon.
Here are a few from a photo shoot I did yesterday afternoon. We walked about a half mile to get to the beach. I didn't realize when we started out that it would be that far. At least I got my workout in for the week!
Everyone assumes that I have tons of photos of my kids. You'd think so, right? I really don't take as many as I should or would like to of my little beauties. I was testing out a new location and got some photos of my girls. Maybe next time I'll even get them in the same frame! These photos are so "Elle". She may be only 6-1/2 months old, but I'm convinced she knows exactly what she's doing. Here she is refusing to give me even an ounce of a smile.
Kaylee just completed her session at Cats Gymnastics this week. They had an awards ceremony, where she received her very own gold medal. She was so proud and we are so proud of her! Great job, Kaylee!!!!
I love photography and I really enjoy giving people a great photo! After working in the securities industry for several years, I put my career on hold to be a stay-at-home mom. Today I feel like I get the best of both worlds. I love being there for every moment in my children's lives and, with the support of my family, I feel fortunate to be able to pursue my passion for photography.
